Why don't you mention the texas inmates

[edit]

I personally was locked up in this facility while all this happened with the Idaho inmates. I was incarcerated for 23 months in this facility infact the third bus in with tdcj!!! When I arrived it was a mad house with arizona inmates in the annex side (A,B and C dorms) tdcj in D,E, and F dorms. Hawaii inmates in the upper building along with county inmates and immigration in what was called later the trustee dorm which was a separate building along the side of the main building. I was there before idaho inmates showed up and the facility in my opinion was third world upon arrival back in 2005... I remember the cafeteria between the dorms in the annex was completely infested with roaches and the dorms were so small. 12 bunks with 3 tables 2 toilets 2 showers and a divider wall with the same set up on the other side.. any letter you tried to send out about the conditions never had a response which I assume never made it to the post office.. I saw a lot of things go on with the private company running the facility and was blown away by almost no standards.. Sgt. Gilder was probably the only decent person I can remember.. I was there from 2005 till September 2007 when I made parole on a 5 year sentence which I served 3.5 years total since 2004.. I'm not at all surprised this facility was shut down in 2012. I can't believe it stayed open that long.. this was the finest example of total corruption with the state of Texas and corporate greed. Couldn't believe this was happening in America. It destroyed my faith in this country all together... 2600:8801:2189:CA00:F0E6:19D:B910:D477 (talk) 04:52, 26 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
