History
[edit]I made some minor edits to the 2009-10 period which now ends
"closing 2009 with $36 million revenues, up from $25 million the year before. A 2010 New York Post story reported that the paper's long-time former editor Kenneth Chandler would become Newsmax Magazine's editor-in-chief. Earlier Ruddy had told Business Insider the company expected annual 2010 revenues to reach $50 million."
but wonder if there should be more radical editing there and for other periods. Mcljlm (talk) 01:08, 17 October 2023 (UTC)
Reliability
[edit]Newsmax article says:
The Wikipedia community has categorized Newsmax as an unreliable source of information.
Reuters:
In the first round, the Defense Department said a week ago the New York Times, NBC News, Politico and the National Public Radio had to vacate their dedicated workspaces at the Pentagon.
Incoming media outlets include the New York Post, Breitbart, the Washington Examiner, the Free Press, the Daily Caller, Newsmax, the Huffington Post and One America News Network, most of whom are seen as conservative or favoring Republican President Donald Trump, who took office on January 20.
Please, stay tuned. Kartasto (talk) 06:08, 28 February 2025 (UTC)
- Interesting. Side note: Overall, I'm a fan of the summary section "variously [describing]" Newsmax as "conservative, right-wing, and far-right." The correct characterization is subject to debate, so it is best to introduce all three options and go from there. Cheers Doctorstrange617 (talk) 18:27, 9 January 2026 (UTC)
