Removal of unsourced or LLM material

Much of the information in this article was added by an editor who is now blocked for LLM use. There are dead links, hallucinations, and unsourced statements. I plan to carefully remove unsourced or badly sourced material to try to save the article. See WP:AI noticeboard#Wkambale. Can anyone check this source?

The allAfrica article on Ugandan newspapers: Kirumira, Mark; Ajwang, Jan (3 May 2007). "Uganda: The Limping Newspaper Industry". Daily Monitor via AllAfrica.com. Confused about newspaper's history

So far I have a source that talks about a single paper going from Uganda Argus, Voice of Uganda, Uganda Times, National Mirror, then New Vision. I have a source that says it went from Uganda Argus to Uganda Times, and then New Vision bought up its premises but is not the same paper. (That one is from New Vision itself.) I have confirmed that Uganda Argus, Voice of Uganda and Uganda Times all existed, but which one(s) existed during the Amin reign varies from source to source. I can't find anything but the one passing mention to support National Mirror existing at all (there are papers of that name in other countries, though). I'm quite confused and not sure what to do with the History section. M kuhner (talk) 02:39, 25 May 2026 (UTC)
