Requested move 30 July 2025

The result of the move request was: moved. A substantive argument in this case appears to outweigh the shorter one noted as "weak" - per WP:NOTCURRENTTITLE, the longer title can be discussed again if necessary, but the shorter title satisfies WP:CONCISE. Shin Shinchō Kōki → New Nobunaga Chronicles: High School is a Battlefield – International title, per Yomiuri TV. VenezuelanSpongeBobFan2004 (talk) 12:03, 30 July 2025 (UTC)
- Weak Oppose -- The title of a manga and the title of its TV series don't always match. --55go (talk) 12:17, 30 July 2025 (UTC)
- Comment But in the case if a manga isn't officially translated into English, is it possible if an English title for the drama is available via the distributor's international sales site? VenezuelanSpongeBobFan2004 (talk) 16:55, 30 July 2025 (UTC)
- Support: Per WP:MOS-AM#Article names and disambiguation. The only reason I would object is because the primary topic of the article is the manga and not the drama adaptation, but if we follow that logic, all English-licensed anime titles that are adaptations of manga that have not been licensed in English should use the Japanese name. So for now, I don't see any major problem with using that title, although I suggest just naming the article "New Nobunaga Chronicles" (without the subtitle), per WP:CONCISE.
