The definition given in the previous version was not a medical definition because "nervous breakdown" is a lay-term. I have given the lay definition with a citation to that, as well as links to what it possibly could be. I left other content as it was. --Atkinson (talk) 20:20, 24 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Atkinson 291: I've reverted most of that per WP:MOSDAB (see WP:DDD for the short version). I've also reverted the redirects Nervous breakdown and Mental breakdown to not point here. As you say these are lay terms, it are also broad terms. That means that sending a (non-expert) reader to a disambiguation page doesn't serve the reader IMHO, especially since the redirects seems to be primary redirects. If something is confusing because the term is "invalid" you may want to improve Mental disorder article first. Cheers LittleWink (talk) 13:22, 25 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
