Nepalis → Nepalese – "Nepalese" is the more widely used and recognized term in English for people and things related to Nepal. "Nepalis" is less common and can sound informal or inconsistent with standard usage across other articles. This move would help with consistency and clarity across Wikipedia. Washi189

- Oppose There is a distinction in English between Nepalis (the plural of Nepali - a person from Nepal) and Nepalese (the adjective generally used to describe things pertaining to Nepal).

Merge proposal
[edit]Apologies for previous template. I thought putting the template creates the discussion, but would like to put it out here now. The term 'Nepali' refers to anything related to Nepal such as Nepali cuisine, Nepali cultures, Nepali languages.
