Give me a couple minutes, I'll see if this is salvageable. Katr67 21:37, 21 May 2007 (UTC) P.S. About 800 google hits. FWIW Katr67 21:40, 21 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Coordinate error

[edit]

{{geodata-check}}

The coordinates need the following fixes:

  • Nelscott Reef is an Ocean feature, and should be off the coast of Lincoln City, Oregon.
  • Current coordinates are on the beach.

Right you are. I could find no authoritative source giving the location. I checked GNIS, USGS Topographic maps, and all the major mapping services. Do you know of any reliable source giving the location? —EncMstr (talk) 19:45, 14 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
I couldn't find a entirely reliable source either, so I've removed the incorrect coords from the article and replaced them with a {{coord unknown}} tag. From an unauthoritative source, I think that the location is about here: 44°57′00″N 124°01′41″W / 44.949917°N 124.027963°W / 44.949917; -124.027963. — TRANSPORTERMAN (TALK) 15:05, 17 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
