Beginning work revising this page, referencing concepts and potentially linking to other pages later on. Part of Planning Theory and History assignment criteria, for Melbourne University (Master of Urban Planning).
I have revised the introduction passage, history section and principles section, in line with content that more accurately reflects each of these areas, and which is referenced. Have added new section, Criticism, in order to balance article.
Have also removed "no references" tag, as inaccurate now.

Foundation for the neighborhood unit is tied closely to the work of Clarence Perry so development of that article will make this less of an orphan. Teda13 (talk) 18:09, 9 October 2011 (UTC)
