I don't believe the picture, one of Rhode Island State House portraits, is a portrait of him at all. As far as I can see it is a gubernatorial portrait of his son Nehemiah R. Knight. If you check out other Rhode Island State House portraits at the State House website, you can see that they are portraits of governors.128.214.205.5 (talk) 10:24, 1 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

The anonymous commentator above is correct. Both the style of the painting and the dress of the sitter clearly show this to be a mid-nineteenth-century portrait. Firstorm (talk) 12:16, 1 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
