[edit]There is no consensus that there is a word "near space" that means the upper atmosphere.
I suggest that this article be turned into a redirect to the article mesosphere, which seems to be the primary content of this article. Useful content in this article, if there is any, could be added to that article.Guy who reads a lot (talk) 19:33, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
- Since there are no objections to the change since I suggested it two years ago, I transfered the content of this article to mesophere and changed this article to a redirect to that article. Guy who reads a lot (talk) 20:29, 3 January 2018 (UTC)
- There are numerous references to this term in scientific journal articles. Praemonitus (talk) 17:20, 16 March 2025 (UTC)
Old version
[edit]I would suggest to look at the old version to see what previous editors thought relevant for the article.

- I already did, and some of it has been added. The problem was much of the old content was unsourced, and attempts to track down reliable information did not always prove fruitful. Praemonitus (talk) 14:43, 17 March 2025 (UTC)
