Medieval Concept of Natural Magic

[edit]

I am adding a few sentences to give some more historical context and to expand on the definition of natural magic. I explained why the hidden mechanisms of the natural world are considered "occult properties". Bnemnich (talk) 16:59, 13 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Historical context in lead section

[edit]

I am adding a few sentences to the lead section to provide additional historical context to the origins of natural magic and the spread of the subject. I also added a citation for this information from a book discussing some of the history of natural magic. Ddemp (talk) 19:31, 15 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

History section and ancient origins

[edit]

I am adding a new section and heading to discuss the history of natural magic. I am also adding a sub-section within the history to discuss its ancient origins. Ddemp (talk) 16:19, 17 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Scientific Revolution

[edit]

I am adding a section discussing the way that natural magic affected the way science developed in the Scientific Revolution. I also added a picture of Sir Isaac Newton. Ddemp (talk) 16:16, 24 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Additions to Article for Improvement

[edit]

I added about 5 links within the article to add context and give the reader more in depth descriptions of certain names/topics. I also added two pictures. One picture was of John Dee, which I believed was able to personify the article and prevent it from feeling detached. I also added a visual for Aristotle's four-element model.
