Cleaning Up
[edit]Much of this page consisted of a long list of links to specific NSFs defined by the NHS. It was hard to organize, but beyond that, I think it was actually counterproductive -- in the event that any of those NSFs were changed, or removed, or updated, the Wikipedia list would fall out of date. I think it makes more sense to link to the NHS website and let people find out the current info for themselves. Tim Pierce 06:07, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
Obsolescence?
[edit]I was just reading through this brief article as part of some routine research and would just like to note that as of July 2015 it is highly likely that the NSF is obsolete or redundant (the links/references are both dead). This is likely the result of NICE (National Institute for/of Clinical Excellence) and their guidelines being used as the means to provide "official" or sanctioned NHS advice for professionals working within the UK, thus replacing any need for a national framework of service/care provision for specific diseases (as that is exactly what NICE guidelines do). --109.246.124.38 (talk) 11:02, 10 July 2015 (UTC)
