Please note that these films have always been screened as a single common entity under the title National Parks Project, and have never been distributed as separate standalone films outside of the common context. Short film compilations which are screened in unison in this manner are routinely filed on Wikipedia in "Year films" categories, rather than getting bumped up to more general "Year in film" categories. See, frex, Category:Short film compilations and Category:Anthology films, every entry in both of which is in a "Year films" category and not a "Year in film" parent) — there's no valid reason why this one should constitute an isolated exception.
