Following the discussion at Wikipedia:Australian Wikipedians' notice board/Archive 20#Copyright violation?, another editor has copied information from http://tourism.southburnett.com.au/townnanango.htm . I have again reverted.--A Y Arktos\talk 12:31, 10 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned references in Nanango

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Nanango's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "ReferenceA":

  • From Kingaroy: "Kingaroy Prince Street". Climate statistics for Australian locations. Bureau of Meteorology. February 2013. Retrieved 2 March 2013.
  • From Agriculture: Borger, Julian (26 February 2008). "Feed the world? We are fighting a losing battle, UN admits", The Guardian (London).
  • From Ipswich, Queensland: "Charleville Aero". Climate statistics for Australian locations. Bureau of Meteorology. 19 September 2013. Retrieved 21 September 2013.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 11:53, 1 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

In 1905 an Indian named Johnny Do was murdered, Wallum Nabby was charged, but the courts found Nabby not guilty.(https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/176329064#:~:text=The%20hearing%20of%20the%20charge%20against%20a,known%20as%20Johnny%20Do%2C%20was%20continued%20yesterday) (https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/284397149/johnny-do) Around 1906 Nabby was charged for burning down a barn but the case was dropped because no true bill was filed.
