There's a big difference between an exodus and genocidal ethnic cleansing. 1967, like 1947-1949 was a genocidal ethnic cleansing not some voluntary "exodus". MathewMunro (talk) 02:58, 29 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

"Emptying" of refugee camps

I removed the sentence in the lead about: the "emptying" of the refugee camps of Aqabat Jaber and ʿEin as-Sultan.^[1].

The source doesn't seem to support the content and the meaning is not clear. The information about these two refugee camps should be restored but I'm not sure with what wording.

Ethnic cleansing

In 1967, Palestinians did not just flee, they were ethnically cleansed as charachterized by Pappe for example, who notes the destruction of the historic Mughrabi Quarter to cite one example. Makeandtoss (talk) 09:56, 31 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
