Al-Nahda in Tunisia

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the al-Nahda movement in Tunisia is related to or separate from the movement described on this page. --chemica (talk) 04:09, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Al-Nahda and its relationship between 19th century French scholarship and colonial rule

Just curious if there may, possibly, have been any possible relationship between the extremely racist 19th century French scholarship, the continuity of this scholarship into the 20th (and 21st) centuries, and the standardization of Western models of education during the decolonial period. Marrash family

I have prepared an article about writer and poet Francis Marrash. He and his sister seem to have been quite important in the Arabic literature, during the Nahda.
