Request to Wikipedia admins to protect this article / self promoting article for financial gains

This current article gives a very false opinion that all Nagarathar's are Nattukottai Nagarathar, which is false. This article should be protected by admins, to maintain its intregrity. There are several Nagarathar communities that use Nagarathar as their caste name. I have found this aritcle has been edited / corrected by wealthy communities and individuals, that tries to discriminate the other Nagarathar caste community people. What is currently happening with this article is self promoting just Naattukottai Nagarathar for financial gains. I call this as a systematic, targetted Caste-related violence in India. This article tries to suppress the voice, history of the other Nagarathar community who may be financially backwards compared to Naattukottai Nagarathar at a very large scale. I also doubt money is used in exchange to write this article.

I will add more reliable sources to prevent Nagarathar communities self promoting their own caste, without valid evidences.

Current issues with this article: Nattukottai Nagarathar community members on a recurring basis edit this article to self promote that Nattukottai Nagarathar's are the only Nagarathars and wants to dominate, hide and discriminate below other non Nattukottai Nagarathar members/people/communities. These members turn evidence provided articles to self promoting articles for Nattukottai Nagarathar and thereby destroy the authenticity of this Wikipedia article. Constant vandalism of this wikipedia article has been found for the last 9 years.

Left-hand caste motif

I suppose, Nagarathars were part of left-hand caste in the old days. There was a migration myth from the region of Kaveripoompattinam for their community. Could somebody please add that to the article? Thanks.

Under the last section I have repeatedly written Chettiar philately. Jim Forte postal philately I have noticed it has been removed.I would like an explaination for this.I am not annoyed or angry but I want to know why this has been deleted.There has to be a valid reason.can someone explain in the computer language.thank you. Or can let me know how you can add this page as it has it has remarkable pictures of envelopes sent by the chettiars from Saigon,Rangoon singapore and all other countries successfully traded by the nattukkotai chettiarsto their native villages. OTRS permission problem

I'm afraid that, on review, the OTRS ticket referenced above is not usable for text on Wikipedia because the correspondent deliberately withheld the right to modificawtion: "Yes i do allow, without changing the version or defacing and removing my name". This is not compatible with the license. Any content remaining from the original will need to be removed, accordingly. Proposed merge with Nattukottai Nagarathar

Nagarathar and Nattukottai Nagarathar are known to be a same community in tamil nadu. as the Nagarathar term means that a community which created the 96 Cities/Villages. they are given by Pandya kings to them in and around 800 AD, in which these community developed a one of the wealthiest cities/villages in tamil nadu. so the name was given

Nagar = City or Village and Athar (also Kown as Amaithar) means Constructed or Established which gives the name Nagarathar with Meaning community which established new cities or villages. Nattukottai term means that fort like houses build by Nagarathar in the region of karaikudi region of tamil nadu where

Nattu (also known as Nadu ) means Country Kottai means = Fort which means houses like countries fort

So the Nattukottai Nagarathar was the correct name which provides complete explanation for the community. Nattukottai Nagarathar= Community which build Fort like houses and Established new villages. so i would like to give some pictorial examples for the Fort like houses build in Karaikudi region you can verify it in Karaikudi region of Tamil Nadu, India.

Wikipedia requires that cited sources are reliable. There is a long-standing consensus that sources affiliated with castes are not reliable, and indeed often turn out also to be self-published. This is why I have been removing some content.

Equally, if something is said in a reliable source and it is relevant to the article subject then we should show it. Article should contain many sources

I remove this image. Although the picture file's name is "Nagarathar-colombo-chetty.jpg", the Colombo Chetties are according to this source ;

The Colombo Chetties must also receive mention in a racial description of the people of Ceylon. The term does not include the Nattukottai Chetties, who have formed themselves into a guild for carrying on business in Ceylon and are only temporary residents of the Island.
