Global or Open?

[edit]

Some sources list NGC 1850 as a globular star cluster. Wikipedia lists it as an open star cluster. It appears as if this needs resolving. Wikiborg (talk) 19:12, 25 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Why the focus on tidal radius

[edit]

Article only gives the tidal radius but Globular_cluster#Radii makes it sound like the core radius or the half-light radius are more direct and intrinsic to the GC than an estimated tidal radius (which depends one the current or average location of the GC). - Rod57 (talk) 11:19, 20 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
