Major cleanup to address long-standing promotional and list-cleanup tags

Dear editors,

I just got through a significant two-part edit to address the maintenance tags that have been on this article since 2019 and 2024. The previous version had some serious issues with promotional tone and formatting, so I've tried to bring it more in line with Wikipedia's standards.

Here's a breakdown of the changes, which were resolved:

The article was heavily one-sided and read more like a corporate brochure than a neutral encyclopedia entry. To fix this and comply with our core WP:NPOV policy, I've added a new "Industry Challenges and Stances" section. This part includes sourced information on NASSCOM's public positions on contentious topics like industry layoffs and employee moonlighting, providing a much-needed neutral perspective.

The article had a long, indiscriminate list of Executive Council members, which is a classic violation of WP:NOTDIRECTORY and WP:PROSE. I've removed this list entirely and replaced it with a concise, sourced paragraph under a new "Leadership" section that summarizes the governance structure. All new sources added in these edits have been manually verified to be live and point to the correct articles, ensuring everything is compliant with WP:V.

As a disclosure, I used an LLM for copy-editing and formatting assistance, but the core research, sourcing, and final text are my own. The sources are from top publications, double checked there are no soft 404s, etc.

Hopefully, these changes are seen as a clear improvement and justify the removal of the banners. Happy to discuss if anyone has questions or concerns.
