- During copyedit, found this sentence in the 2012 section: "The 150-kg MAV would be made lightweight by spinning it up before stage separation." Is that right? Spinning makes it lightweight? I don't think so, but that's beyond my scope. Any help... 209.122.54.40 (talk) 05:02, 28 January 2025 (UTC)

- ...then I was wondering... is spinning a technique to remove the need for stabilizing thrusters? Kinda like rifling in a gun barrel spins the bullet so it is more stable in flight. If so, spinning the launch vehicle could reduce the need for extra stabilizing thrusters (and associated fuel), thus making the whole thing lighter? Footleg (talk) 04:48, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
