The Wikipedia page, on the other hand, states that they are being held in Evin Prison. (Or perhaps the Wikipedia line aims to state that the proceedings were being held in Evin, but it is not written clearly.) In the Guardian interview (Dec. 2024), Behtash Sanaeeha states that he and Maryam Moghaddam were subject to "interrogation sessions in court, which is inside the famous prison in Iran called Evin." (He adds that "In a couple of weeks, the case will be sent to the main revolutionary court.") The interviewer refers to Sanaeeha and Moghaddam being "stuck on [their] sofa"; Moghaddam states that they have been "sitting on [their] sofa." The interview intro. refers to their being "currently under arrest."
In sum, it appears from this interview that they are currently under house arrest (not being held in Evin). (This September 2024 article also states that they are "under house arrest in Tehran" and "banned from leaving the country.") Unless there is a more recent source/update on their situation, I recommend that we edit the Wikipedia entry accordingly. Marseilleswhat (talk) 04:42, 25 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
