Mutual combat in history and other common law countries

[edit]

Does mutual combat have history in the wider common law legal tradition? Perhaps back when dueling was a thing during the early United States? Is it (still?) a legal concept in other common law countries (UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand)? If so, it would be great to expand the article regarding the history and its application today. A search I did didn't really come up with much. 2601:8C:4182:9B40:B6DB:D95A:78CA:280B (talk) 04:42, 28 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
