Etymology

I haven't found any reliable sources so haven't added this to the article, but: the Finnish name Mustikkamaa means literally "bilberry land", and is a direct translation of, and derived from, the island's original Swedish name Blåbärslandet. There is some speculation (eg. here) that this refers to actual bilberries growing on the island. The Finnish wiki article quotes a source (not available online) casting doubt on this, and instead suggesting that the name comes from the Swedish Blåbergslandet, which sounds similar and may have been corrupted to the current name. This name translates literally as "blue bedrock land", and is said to come from the blue-ish grey colour of the terrain. If anyone finds a solid source to back up either claim, please add.
