"Musina tribe"?

[edit]

Does anyone have a source to support the claim of the existence of a "Musina tribe"?

From what I've heard, musina is the Tshivenda word for copper. It literally means "the spoiler" since it initially spoilt their efforts to mine gold in the region, as they couldn't effectively separate the gold from the useless copper.

It makes no sense for the name of an ethnic group to begin with "mu-", since that would be the name of a single individual:

 Individual – Ethnicity
 umZulu – amaZulu
 Muvenda – Vhavenda
 Mosotho – Basotho

etc.
