"Air of efficiency"?
[edit]However, they did not become popular until the late 14th century, when German and Swiss composers decided that they had a certain air of efficiency about them.
I can let the first half of this sentence slide, but not the second half. Can we find a reference that backs this up? It not only sounds odd but is completely unencyclopedic. Mr Instamatic (talk) 16:02, 1 August 2011 (UTC)
