Murthy (surname) → Murthy – There are only 2 uses of "Murthy": Murthy (surname) and an alternative spelling of Murti to which Murthy currently redirects. So (1) move Murthy (surname) over the redirect at Murthy; (2) put a distinguish hatnote there; (3) delete Murthy (disambiguation) as not required. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 12:30, 11 February 2019 (UTC)

- Alternate proposal - move the disambiguation page to the basename of Murthy! It seems there's no clear 100% primary topic for the name. Paintspot Infez (talk) 13:12, 14 February 2019 (UTC)

Blanking
[edit]Why was the etymology of Murthy (which is attested from Wiktionary, and uncontroversial) blanked without first resorting to discussion in this "Talk" page? We should aim to edit Wikipedia with an aim to improving, not depleting our content, and to do so in genuinely collaborative, collegial manner, engaging in discussion rather than summary blanking.
