Dead man walking

All of the tornadoes described as "dead man walking" are multiple-vortex tornadoes, so they are certainly a relevant subtopic. It makes more sense, I think, to have the list here, as article material, than at the disambiguation page. —ShelfSkewed Talk 20:36, 13 January 2025 (UTC)

I don't understand how that guideline is relevant. "Dead man walking" is a type of multiple-vortex tornado, and subtypes of many things are dealt with in sections of more general articles. —ShelfSkewed Talk 22:25, 13 January 2025 (UTC)

The general reader is more likely to look up "Dead Man Walking" when looking for that then "Multiple-Vortex tornado". Several sources just refer to the phenomena as a "Dead Man Walking", without the tornado at the end. E_F⁵ 22:40, 13 January 2025 (UTC)

Okay, but disambiguation pages are meant to be navigation pages, pointing to the relevant article for the topic. They are not supposed to be destination pages for article content. The relevant article for the topic "dead man walking tornado" is here. If this topic were to have its own article, it would be at Dead man walking (tornado), which I have just created as a redirect to Multiple-vortex tornado#Notable tornadoes. • Oppose — It is correct grammar as is. This webpage by the National Weather Service states it is a “Multiple Vortex Tornado”. This paper published by the American Meteorological Society confirms that with the title: The Role of Multiple-Vortex Tornado Structure in Causing Storm Researcher Fatalities. “Multi-vortex tornado” is the internet/social media shortened name.
