Heavy Rework Needed
[edit]The intro section needs to be completely rewritten. It reads like it was taken from a report written by an undergraduate. Large sections of it appear nearly verbatim on several other websites, including some quasi-professional research papers and at least one patent, and some of the terms used are ones I can only find reference to in the context of these near identical copies. I did some cleanup and rewrites, but I am not an expert in this subfield so I hesitate to do anything major without at least having the oversight of someone who is. -Athaler (talk) 17:59, 24 September 2014 (UTC)
