Logo and coach being removed

[edit]

Waqar Younis has been verified as the coach. I see some people keep removing it. Please discuss the reasons for removal. So said The Great Wiki Lord. (talk) 20:03, 8 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Issue with mixing team histories

[edit]

This page is for the previous Multan Sultans, which have now been renamed to Pindiz and relocated to Rawalpindi. That team retained the player list and team history, not the new franchise that was created recently and assumed the name Multan Sultans.

For other teams in other sports, if teams relocate then they maintain this previous history, record the name change. I feel like we should fix up these teams to maintain their proper histories. CtrlDPredator (talk) 16:20, 12 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

as per most recent PCB press release PCB treats them as old Multan Sultans and there are only two new teams in tournament, Pindiz and Hyderabad Kingsmen. Its a mess but its still the better way to handle this than adding Multan history in Rawalpindi. As per Multan's social media they hold the 2021 trophy so same team just new owners.
