Now adays the name of Ome Sheleko Wereda is renamed as Tembaro wereda has about 27 kebeles with a total number of 150,000 population. The People of Tembaro Wereda are called TEMBARO, and TEMBAREGNA is the mother tounge of all people of Tembaro. Tembaregna is different from Kambategna which is the language of Kembata people.
