I've removed this metamorphic rock from the list of types of mudrock, which are, per the first sentence in the lede, defined as fine-grained sedimentary rocks. That said there are certain shales which are informally labelled as slates but which, not being metamorphosed, are not 'true' slates. Geopersona (talk) 07:59, 19 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
