The neutrality and authenticity of this page needs challenging
[edit]This article about a "Muang Sua" is based exclusively on Lao mythology and not on historical fact. It is entirely questionable whether Lao people were living anywhere near Luang Prabang in the 7th C CE, let alone forming a kingdom there. The whole article smacks of ethno-nationalistic propaganda written by the communist Lao government. 118.208.148.73 (talk) 01:50, 30 May 2025 (UTC)
- the name mueang sua appears in the Ramkamhaeng inscription as well as other inscriptions from the time. Much of early Tai history is oral, and thus considered the "mythological period", which does make it less historic. However this does not make the page in any way a modern propaganda. You could argue it's ancient propaganda but that would still count as history. Ubs6u!d-onstory (talk) 13:28, 26 June 2026 (UTC)
