While Eggleton & Tokovinin (2008) describe this as a quadruple system with a F3V companion at 0.04" and an A1V companion (Ab) without an specified separation, but a period of 8.845 years, the 0.04" separation of the inner companion clearly overlaps with the angular semi-major axis (~0.054") and eccentricity (0.38) of the Ab companion. The origin of this companion is traced to two studies from the 1970s analysing lunar occultations, which do not claim it as a confirmed companion, but a candidate one, and it seems that no study has analysed them again. 21 Andromedae (talk) 14:25, 11 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
