Mount Septimus is NOT 32 km NW of Gold River, nor 10 km west of Victoria Peak. Mount Septimus is ~50 km WSW of Gold River, and is within 1 km of Mt Rousseau. The GPS coordinates in the article are correct.

Maybe the author is thinking of Sutton Peak or Watchtower Peak? Both are ~9.3 km west of Victoria Peak, according to The Atlas of Canada - Toporama.

Cheers,

Fraser
