The Colin Robertson reference seems completely innacurate. Given the street in Vancouver with the namesake of the mountain, it is most likely named after John Robson. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Robson 170.65.128.6 (talk) 19:09, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

"Mount Robson was named in 1915 by Colin Robertson," Is there any source for this ? It appears factually incorrect. The Name Mount Robson appears in the Canadian Alpine Journal in June 1910. Five years previous. A quote on BC parks web page from 1865 also calls it Mount Robson. Some 50 years previous to this 1915 claim.

The Geographical Name Survey http://gnss.nrcan.gc.ca shows that the name Mount Robson was officially given to the mountain on April 2nd 1912.

tourist route

Are there any marked tourist trails leading to the top of Mt. Robson? I mean achievable by mere high-mountain tourist without climbing gear (except ice-axe or crampons, but that's all, no rope, no rock climbing course needed), or at least via ferrata. Any? No. Even the easiest routes are long and technical; this is a very serious mountain. We should probably make that clearer in the Climbing section. -- Spireguy (talk) 04:14, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
