Morokweng vs Ganyesa Chief Matter

Since 1977 after Bohuthatswana was established the two Villages were in dispute about independence of chieftanship being the Letlhogile and. Maiketso clan,and both clans falls under the Mariba Kingdom. The then goverment of Bophuthatswana issued a goverment cassette in 198 that finally separated the two Villages but Letlhogile clan who claims that the are the elders refused to recognise them as chiefs(Maaparankwe). Morokweng clan maintain that they are the first to be established as a village and later Ganyesa after Maiketso see to it that there was a hier in his brother house after he died without having a son to take over the chieftancy.

This has been a topic for decades and through different courts to try an interven in the two Clans without any settlement. Chief Letlhogile before he died signed letters that Hailane Royal house qualified to be chiefs with Independent Committee but it was never recognised as well because the was too much politic and o going quarrels amongst each other.
