Potential images

[edit]

HBO has some screenshots from this episode up on their site already:

  1. http://www.hbo.com/thewire/about/ the 1st image of Clark Johnson as Gus Haynes. The file path used on the page lists at as being from ep 51.
  2. The third image on the same page of Lance Reddick as Cedric Daniels is also stated as being from ep51 in its filepath.
  3. http://www.hbo.com/thewire/downloads/ the second image of Wendell Pierce as Bunk Moreland. The filepath again includes ep51.

I'm not sure we can warrant using these images for wikipedia when the articles are in such a stub state but they might well be suitable once it airs. I'd say the Gus Haynes one is most appropriate as it will be easy to remember and identify the episode from the image because it will be his first appearance and the article can include critical commentary on his importance to the show and joining the starring cast. This image is already used in The Wire (season 5) and is here for anyone interested. What do others think? --Opark 77 (talk) 16:55, 24 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Plot summary

[edit]

I've written a plot summary of appropriate length according to the TV episode guidleine. Please don't expand it unless absolutely necessary as it will be tagged with an avoidable warning.--Opark 77 (talk) 07:49, 7 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Structure

[edit]

I've started a discussion about structuring the episode articles over on the main list as it will affect all of its sub-articles.--Opark 77 (talk) 17:58, 7 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

no offence

[edit]

no offence but why is the episode summaries so brief for the fifth season? im not saying i could do better but this is just lazy...where's the guy who did the last 4 seasons? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ktonlai (talkcontribs) 03:34, 16 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

I tend to agree with the user above me, Ktonlai. The structure and depth provided by the first 4 seasons is far beyond what has been presented for season 5. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gbmontgo (talkcontribs) 16:00, 23 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
