Requested move for Changing the official name from speling of Moodabidri to Moodubidire

[edit]

This is the official spelling used by Town Municipal Council of Moodubidire. The people were using many types of spellings in kannada and English languages in writing our city name.In order to bring uniformity,TMC has requested to use the official spelling "Moodubidire""ಮೂಡುಬಿದಿರೆ" MSK657 (talk) 15:20, 5 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

yes i agree Tyasathi (talk) 11:34, 25 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Oppose - Wikipedia uses the WP:COMMONAME in English for article titles, not the WP:OFFICIALNAME. You need to provide statistics to show that Moodubidire is the WP:COMMONAME in English, to support your proposal. - Arjayay (talk) 11:56, 25 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
