Some issues
[edit]It is evident that this article was translated from sr:Црногоризација. This 20 May 2020 version to be exact, although the creator left some new material of their own, and excluded the images for some reason.
Several issues need to be addressed. I'm not an expert on South Slavic topics, but the article seems to be written from several perspectives that are opposed to the idea of a separate Montengrin identity and the phenomena associated with Montenegrinization, without really appreciating why it exists and why other perspectives are in favour of it. A simple example in which this shows, is that none of the URLs in the cited sources ends in the domain name .me (Montenegro), but they do end a lot in .rs (Serbia), .ba (Bosnia and Herzegovina), .si (Slovenia), . The existence of Serbs, Croats and Bosniaks is assumed, but Montegrins are always questioned, also by repetitive italicisation of all variations of words starting with Montenegr-.
The sourcing for this article is very questionable. As if the editor was confused and mixed sources up. The paper Vojičić-Komatina, Olga (2021-10-30). "lirska paradigma njegoševog djela gorski vijenac the lyrical paradigm of Njegoš's literary work the mountain wreath". Folia Linguistica et Litteraria. XII (37): 45–57. doi:10.31902/fll.37.2021.4. ISSN 2337-0955. S2CID 245578233. is all about a literary analysis of a Njegosh poem, and has nothing to do with Montenegrinization. The book Grabić, Daniel (2010). Montenegrizität: Sprache und Kirche im Spiegel des Identitätsdiskurses in der Republik Montenegro 1990 - 2007 (in German). Peter Lang. p. 190. ISBN 978-3-631-61373-3. uses the German word Montenegrinisierung once, but never the Spanish word montenegrización. Why should it? The book is written in German. There are several more instances of WP:FAIL. The source "Чедомир Антић: Други одговор др Александру Р. Милетићу". Напредни клуб (in Serbian). 2017-10-09. Retrieved 2022-03-25. from the Progressive Club, led by conservative Serbian political activist Čedomir Antić, who is well-known for his public rejection of Montenegrin identity and advocacy for the 'rights of Serbs' outside Serbia.
In short, these are not the most reliable and NPOV sources that could be used to write about this subject. Nevertheless, certain sources critical of the very notion of Montenegrin identity are acceptable if they are presented with sufficient context, and counterbalanced by other sources from other perspectives.
