A 1955 wedding announcement listed both parents, but in 1965 only Violet is listed, implying either that Monroe had died or that they divorced); however, when their daughter had a baby in 1970, Violet and Monroe were listed as grandparents with Violet living in Palm Springs and Monroe living in Phoenix so probably divorced. Violet died in 1981. I'm amazed that there is no obituary for Monroe on newspapers.com. Schazjmd(talk)16:44, 12 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
