"Decoy"?

[edit]

What is a "decoy transit officer"? It says Grace is "a decoy transit officer". A decoy by who? For what? It later says that she is used as a stand in in a transit booth, but it's hard to imagine that they had to find a special "decoy officer" just to play that part. And judging from the fact that she arrests the boss at the end, she is obviously a real officer of some sort, not an "decoy". I suspect what is actually meant here is that she is an UNDERCOVER officer for internal affairs, investigating the transit police, posing as a mundane member of the transit police while in fact being an NYPD or FBI detective. It isn't at all clear to the reader what is meant here until the very end, and not everyone may be able to add two and two as easily, they may just end up scratching their heads. 64.223.159.36 (talk) 07:09, 28 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
