Redirection of horse mint

Horse mint is the common name of Mentha sylvestris (syn. Mentha longifolia). While these are both within the same taxonomic family, horse mint used for Monarda is an alternate common name instead of the standard common name. I would like to redirect the search for Horse Mint to Mentha sylvestris, or perhaps offer a disambiguation page, or perhaps both. Is there a current maintainer of the Monarda page who I can discuss this with? Feel free to leave me a comment directly on my talk page if you know. Jeremywosborne 18:37, 30 June 2007 (UTC)

Is this notable?
[edit]I'm not sure if the following text is notable enough to be included in the article:
- In 2010, due to its similarities with the cannabis plant, a few Corpus Christi, Texas police officers spent hours pulling 400 of the plants from a city park. After a few chemical tests it was eventually discovered that the plant was Horse Mint.[1]

Great Taxonomy Section
[edit]Just a plant researcher stopping by to say that the taxonomy section is beautiful. Too many pages have just a list of scientific names with little other information, but this article also includes the native range for each species which is super helpful.
