Vigneault has denied that this was ever his intention;

[edit]

This section doesn't make sense grammatically and isn't consistent in terms of meaning.

""" As well as expressing the natural beauty and praising the special characteristics of the composer's Quebec homeland, the song is seen by many people as declaring the free spirit of the province;[4][5] Vigneault has denied that this was ever his intention; """

This section would make sense if it was "seen by many people as declaring the free spirit of all of Canada, not just the province of Quebec.

I also question whether that's true---who thinks "Mon Pays" is not about Quebec but about all of Canada?  Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.83.120.180 (talk) 11:51, 5 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
