Expanding The Article

[edit]

Hello, I am a undergrad student studying Biochemistry/Molecular Biology and currently conducting research in molecular knot theory as it relates to protein folding and knotting. I plan on making the following edits to this Molecular Knot Page: adding the known knot types that are found within DNA/protein molecules and their chirality properties, discussing applications and consequences of molecular knots, further defining and expanding upon knotanes, and altogether expanding the article and placing information into sections. As I make these changes I would appreciate any second opinions or criticisms of the changes if something does not look right! I am also looking into editing the protein topology, membrane topology, and circuit topology pages, and would like to ask for a second opinion on combining these pages and the molecular knot page under a Topology (Molecular) page similar to the Topology (Chemistry) page that exists.
