Thanks for your reply and for starting this discussion. Did you read the closing summary of the AfD? The closer stated "In any case, discussion has died down, and merging the content does not require AfD." It is already covered in overzealous detail at Jacob Rees-Mogg#Rumoured run for leadership. Fair enough (it's a little late here). But the closer says, "No consensus to keep the article or merge the content to another.". There is no consensus to merge, and I object to the merge without further discussion. Mogg lost his seat at the 2024 election.

However it's unclear if he, or these groups of activists, hope a return to politics could occur one day.
