The June 1 Claim
[edit]There's no sourcing on this claim, and it appears to be incorrect. Other sites give a date of June 11 for when the Second Continental Congress resolved to form the committee to write the Articles. The committee was appointed the next day. Cf.[1]Heinrich66 (talk) 11:48, 4 August 2013 (UTC)
Follow-up
The June 1 date in this article appears to be a typo. The date should be June 11. Here is a page linking to the Journals of the Continental Congress on June 11 in which the resolution is made:
One can also navigate on that page to June 1, and find that no such resolution is made on that date.
I have accordingly changed the date in the article to June 11. Heinrich66 (talk) 11:54, 4 August 2013 (UTC)
