Noting the correct ammounts

[edit]

I have put what is explicitly noted on the webpage for the Mockingbird Foundation. I could have missed where it mentions it has received closer to over $700,000 so far. When someone points it out, then it should be included. Until it is posted on the site somewhere, it should not be edited to $700k yet. As a policy, the threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth. This means that we only publish material that is verifiable with reference to reliable, published sources. All my respect to the accountant for the Foundation, but we can't include it by your word alone, since that would be original research on your part. More independent refs, inline citations

[edit]

This article is in need of more independent sources in order to avoid being AfD'd. Currently everything seems to be sourced to the mbird page - and there are certainly plenty of reliable news sources out there discussing the foundation. for 70 or so - some of which would be jambase stuff, which is not super-reliable, but there are lots of others as well. -Addionne (talk) 20:00, 22 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
