Position title

[edit]

According to Silk's Treasury Department biography and a congratulatory tweet by Sec. Mnuchin, Silk's title is "Assistant Secretary for International Markets" (without "and Development"). However, some news articles have used the longer title. It might be best to use the title that the Treasury Department uses. --1990'sguy (talk) 17:52, 24 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

@1990'sguy: Apparently you're right. The Dept. of Treasury's website and his senate testimony both refer to the position as "Assistant Secretary for International Markets" without "and Development" (despite the organizational chart adding "and Development). I'd remove it. Shemtov613 (talk) 22:32, 24 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
In that case, I will edit the article to reflect this. Thank you! --1990'sguy (talk) 13:59, 26 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
