- Missing children → Unsolved English murders -- Delete because plenty of missing children are neither English nor murdered. Antaeus Feldspar 01:41, 27 July 2005 (UTC)
- I second the delete vote. What's more, not all murdered English people are children. — JIP | Talk 07:15, 27 July 2005 (UTC)
- Keep but make it redirect to Child abduction. --Angr/tɔk tə mi 23:38, 30 July 2005 (UTC)

The need for having a separate entry on Missing Children
[edit]Whether the child has been accidentally separated from family or the child has left home on own volition, age predisposes her/him to unexpected and serious harm(including trafficking/lifelong slavery/ sexual grooming/ other physical violence). Hence the challenge associated with missing children is of an altogether different order.
Also, the responses associated with tracing missing children are a distinct category as the ability to identify themsleves to others is often undeveloped or totally missing in the case of children. The efforts world over from National Missing Children's Day or Amber Alert in the US to Trackthemissingchild portal in India, have developed as a disntict category.
Any thoughts, esteemed colleagues here? Postbox 2 (talk) 01:46, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
