Nomenclature

[edit]

The naming of this article as "Mini-MAX" does not conform to the normal WikiProject Aircraft naming conventions outlined at Wikipedia:WikiProject Aircraft/Naming. By those guidelines the article should be named "Manufacturer-model", which for this article would be "JDT Mini-MAX Mini-MAX". It can't be named the obvious "JDT Mini-MAX", because that is the name of the company and there will one day probably be an article about the company. I thought was a bit silly and so have named the article after just the plane family model name. I am not particularly attached to the current name, but given the problem, thought it might be the "least worst" solution. Please discuss here if you think it should be changed. - Ahunt (talk) 18:38, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Makes sense to me. Searching for 'minimax' throws up some possibles, at the worst you could use 'Mini-MAX (aircraft)'.Nimbus (Cumulus nimbus floats by) 18:54, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for the tip, I have added this article to Minimax (disambiguation). - Ahunt (talk) 14:07, 20 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
